A Real Rock Band Finally In Cape Town
If the sound of an electric guitar gets you excited and really makes you feel alive like me, than we can all finally be happy because there is a new Cape Town Rock band that will get us all jumping again. The Velve Debut Album was a heart stopper when I first heard it.
There aren't many good quality rock bands in Cape Town but this one is definitely a keeper. I found their debut album while I was searching through the black personals online and that accidental find was such a relief for me because I was tired of listening to all the same bands over and over again.
These guys had the real rock feel to their music and after a few songs I knew that they will become the new leaders of the South African rock scene. The great music of the Velve Debut Album made me share their music on the black personals and I managed to meet a fellow rock music lover with who I could go and see their live performances. Finding the Velve Debut Album was definitely one of the most joyful things that happened to me this year.
